Masonry has long been a source of leadership in the world, and in
the United States especially. Sixteen U.S. Presidents, including
George Washington,
have been Master Masons.
Many of the founding Fathers
were members of the craft.
The members of Capitol Lodge
are proud of that heritage, and celebrate President's Day in the Lodge each
year.
One of the aims of Masonry is to take good men and make them
better. With such a rich history, it is apparent that Masonry has had a lot to
offer through the years - and still does.
